We are the world’s first truly vertical seafood production system. Our vertical oceans combine multi-trophic biology with advanced digital technologies in modular growing habitats efficiently stacked in a vertical tower. Ocean water recirculates in a balanced ecosystem where shrimp, fish, and algae happily coexist. Data from sensors and IoT devices flows into AI algorithms to optimise growth, water quality, microbiology and energy usage. We reformulated the feed to minimize nutrient loss, use only sustainable ingredients and improve the flavour of our shrimp. This optimized design maximises the utilization of all added nutrients, with no discharged effluents. Our biosecure facility and advanced water management systems eliminate the need for chemicals and antibiotics. We are the only aquaculture system in the world that uses this approach.
