Tide OS is the operating system of the iHAB. It runs locally on each iHAB's computing unit, implementing its autonomy. Tide makes decisions to optimize local performance and directly controls all hardware devices through algorithms, machine learning, and continuous communication with Moana.

Moana® is the central factory software. It knows the real-time status of each iHAB and implements factory-level optimization, such as prioritizing access to biofiltration or deciding on splitting and harvesting combinations. It instructs and tracks operators' workflows and provides control system-like dashboards for local and remote factory monitoring.

Moana Brain is the biological digital twin of Vertical Ocean's ecosystem. It uses complex system modelling to learn and optimize all facilities, ensuring that our system becomes more efficient the longer it operates.
